I grew up in rural County Down, surrounded by fields and with the Mourne Mountains on the horizon. Rolling hills and far-reaching views are still my happy place, but that’s not always possible. Moving to England and working in a city meant spending many years in red-brick suburbia, so striking the right work/life balance has always been important to me. Even on a busy day, a 20-minute walk around the park really helps. However, I enjoy getting out into green spaces as often as possible, whether it be for a fast walk, a slow run, a hill walk or a bike ride. I’ve also been a motorcyclist for over 25 years, which is another great way to see the countryside!
My background is in science and marketing, so I am naturally inquisitive and like to pay attention to the small details. Making the move back ‘home’ to Northern Ireland means I can spend more time with family and friends and do the things that are important to me, including volunteering to support PSO and the great work done by the team.
